Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanPlate app ("CleanPlate", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Using CleanPlate

• You must be at least 13 years old to use CleanPlate.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
• CleanPlate provides meal-planning suggestions and shopping lists for convenience. You are responsible for reviewing ingredients and preparation for your own dietary needs, allergies, and food safety.

Subscription, free trial & billing

• CleanPlate is offered as an auto-renewable subscription: a 14-day free trial, then $3.99 per month (or the equivalent in your local currency, as shown in the app at purchase).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically at $3.99/month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If you begin a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, access it in an unauthorized way, or use it to violate any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Content & intellectual property

CleanPlate, including its recipes pool, design, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Content you add (household details, inventory, ratings, photos) remains yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the app for you.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy

Your use of CleanPlate is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
